KIO Invests US$110 in Engineering Labs in Karak University College

KIO Vice-Chairman & BAU President inaugurate KIO's  Engineering Labs in Karak University College

KIO Vice-Chairman & BAU President inaugurated the “KIO’s Civil Engineering Construction Materials Laboratory” and“KIO’s Mechanical Engineering Laboratory”.

The two labs are to serve the Civil Engineering students in Karak University College, empowering them with the practical aside along the theoretical courses. They will also provide specalised engineering services for the local interested companies in the Governorate 

The cost of the project is USD 110,000

KIO Invests US$ 27,135 in a Community Hall in Wassia-Karak

The Governor of Karak, Mr. Hijaz Assaf & KIO Vice-Chairman Eng. Munther Akroush inaugurate Wassia Community Hall of Al-Bena' for Mutual Benefit Association. 

The multi purposes hall which is expanded, renovated & furnished by Karak International Oil psc, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) serves around 10,000 people of the local community of Wassia and the surrounding areas. 

The cost of the project is US$ 27,135.

The Governor of Karak, Mr. Abdullah Al-Khatab inaugurates the hall of Ader Association accompanied by the General Manager of Karak International Oil. Eng. Samer Makhamreh.

The multi purposes hall which is expanded, renovated & furnished by Karak International Oil psc, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) serves around 5665 of the local community of Ader area and the surrounding areas. 

The cost of the project is US$ 28,000.

KIO Funds a New IT Facility at the Educational Learning Centre in Karak Governorate

The opening Ceremony of the Learning Centre in Karak

Karak International Oil has invested US$ 26,000 in a new IT facility at the Educational Learning Centre in the Karak Governorate. The impressive facility, equipped with 25 terminals, a powerful server and cameras, serves around 30,000 teachers and students, in addition to the local community in Karak and nearby areas.  The computer facility is used for conducting IT training courses, holding ICDL, Cambridge and Intel certificates’ tests.

ATP retorting technology successful in Fushun, PRC

A delegation from KIO and the Technical Advisor Committee (TAC) from the Ministry of Energy & Mineral Resources visited the Fushun Mining Group in October 2015 to see the results of the Fushun implementation of the ATP technology for oil shale surface retorting.
