KIO funds university IT facility

Karak International Oil has invested US$40,000 in a new computer facility at the Mu’tah University in the Karak Governorate where the Lajjun oil shale resource is located. The impressive facility, equipped with 24 terminals and a powerful server, will help students develop valuable IT skills and contribute to the Kingdom’s technical and commercial development.

KIO takes active role on international stage

In May this year, KIO chairman Christopher Morgan, together with directors Munther Akroush and Chris Nurse, presented at the Jordan International Oil Shale Symposium at the Dead Sea, which signifying its importance to the Kingdom, was attended by His Excellency Alaa Al Batayneh, Minister of Energy & Mineral Resources.
